West Tulsa neighborhood plans meeting over flooding concerns, putting evacuation plan together

TULSA - Flooding concerns in a west Tulsa neighborhood have led to a meeting Thursday night.

The area between 33rd West Avenue and 65th West Avenue is protected by levees and flooding is always a concern.  Thursday's meeting will focus on informing residents about what the plan is in case of a flood.

An evacuation plan is being put together at the meeting at Grace United Methodist Church.

The Charles Page Neighborhood was selected as part of the Tulsa Public Involvement Pilot Project, bringing togheter the neighborhood association, residents and the City to share information.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at 519 S. 49th W. Ave.
