Warrants issued for two Park Hill, Okla. residents on felony counts of lewd proposal to a minor

CHEROKEE COUNTY - A warrant of arrest has been issued in Cherokee County for two Park Hill, Okla. residents accused of offering indecent proposals to a child under the age of 16.

Formal charges were filed by a Cherokee County District Attorney against Kelly and Johnson Kuhns Thursday.

Johnson Kuhns, 30, has been charged with three felony counts of lewd or indecent proposals to a child under the age of 16. Kelly Kuhns, 29, was charged with one felony count for the same crime.

Johnson Kuhns allegedly offered to perform lewd acts with the juvenile and also offered to "find time to get the juvenile alone" with him and his wife, according to court documents.

The incidents occurred from January 2013 to July 2013 on at least three occasions.

If convicted, the two could face up to 20 years in prison for each charge.
