The vehicle was crushed in between 2 semis last Super Bowl Sunday on the Will Rogers Turnpike.

A mother and two children were pulled from the wreckage.

The son Kutler Shannon was pulled from the crash.

Kutler's father, Tim Shannon, was on the way to pick him up in Missouri when a winter storm dumped snow and ice on the Will Rogers Turnpike.

Witnesses told Tim Shannon the car his son was in was trapped between two semis when the turnpike came to a halt.

“Looking at that car and I’ve told Kutler whenever we got him home I sat him down and explained to him that most people don't come out of something like that alive," said Tim Shannon.

“... Thank everyone for the prayers, for helping me and thank that one guy for getting me out of the car," said Kutler Shannon.

The family said its grateful for all the support and said people who witnessed the crash have been contacting them on Facebook sending them well wishes.
