Tulsa's St. Patrick's Day events begin Saturday and run through late night Sunday

TULSA – There are a number of St. Patrick's Day events scheduled in the Tulsa area, beginning Saturday and lasting well into the holiday.
The Blue Dome District's Annual Celebration kicks off at 10 a.m. March 16 and 17 and will end at 2 a.m. The party will be held in the Blue Dome District, 100 S. Elgin Ave, and feature lots of green beer and live music. The celebration is hosted by the Engine Room.
Also hosting St. Patrick's Day festivals and parties in the Blue Dome District are Arnie's Bar, Woody's Corner Bar and McNellie's. Each location is expected to have the same hours as the the Blue Dome District's.
The city expects anywhere from 8,000 to 10,000 people in the area. Several streets will be shut down to accommodate the events throughout the weekend.
Kilkennys Irish Pub's St. Patrick's Day will start at noon Sunday on continue through midnight. Kilkennys is located on Cherry Street, 1400 E. 15th St.
In south Tulsa, Baker Street Pub's event will also begin at noon and last through midnight, March 17. The St. Patrick Day event will take place in the parking lot near the pub, located at 6620 S. Memorial Dr.
