Tulsa woman pleads no contest in deadly 2012 hit-and-run that left one dead, four injured

A Tulsa woman charged in a deadly hit and run accident is waiting to find out how long she will be in jail.

Kristen Lynn Smith pleaded no contest first-degree manslaughter, leaving the scene of a deadly accident and child endangerment.

Police arrested her in June of 2012 after they say she hit an SUV from behind on I-244 near Yale.

The crash left one person dead and four injured.

Police say she had a child in the car with her and left the scene.

Smith is set to be sentenced in March.
