Tulsa residents get a chance to weigh in on Vision2 resolution

TULSA - On Tuesday, residents in Tulsa have their first chance to speak up about the new Vision2 plans.

Last week, city councilors drafted a resolution, detailing how nearly $158 million in Vision2 money would be spent.

That is, of course, if voters approve the tax extension in November.

So far, ideas include improvements to Tulsa International Airport, the Arkansas river, the zoo and city parks.

Now, councilors are asking for public input about how they plan to distribute the money.

Meetings are scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday inside council chambers at City Hall.
