TULSA - As part of the annual Project Schoolhouse review, Tulsa school board members will study recommendations Monday night to close several schools.
Among the nearly one dozen recommendations, officials suggest closing Mayo Demonstration Academy, Sequoyah Elementary and Greeley Elementary.
They say those moves will reduce overcrowding issues.
Students from those schools would be moved to larger facilities that were closed last year through the first round of Project Schoolhouse cuts.
The school board will read through the recommendations at Monday's meeting at 6:30 p.m.
Members are expected to vote on the issues Feb. 21.
