TULSA - Tulsa Public Schools announced Thursday afternoon its plan for making up snow days missed earlier this week.
Classes were canceled Monday, March 3, and Tuesday, March 4.
Traditional school sites will be in session on Friday, March 14. The planned parent/teacher conferences for that day have been moved to the evening. The make-up day for Continuous Learning sites is April 7.
To make up for Tuesday’s snow day, the early release day originally scheduled for Friday, April 4, will now be a regular full-day of instruction for all schools.
The rest of the time will be made up by adding 12 minutes to the school day throughout the month of April. Times will return to normal beginning May 1.
The changes are pending approval by the Board of Education which is expected to vote on the recommendation March 13.
