TULSA - Tulsa police have arrested a suspect in a north Tulsa shooting, but it's not the person who originally admitted pulling the trigger.
On Monday night, police told 2NEWS a woman shot a man in the middle of the street near Queen and Atlanta. The woman initially told police it was in self-defense, but after questioning witnesses officers arrested the woman's husband.
According to the police report, multiple witnesses identified Ismael Deligorio as the shooter.
Police say Deligorio was in his vehicle and the victim was on foot when an altercation between the two began. Shots were fired and the victim was hit twice.
Police say Deligorio's wife later admitted she wasn't present during the shooting.
Deligorio was booked into the Tulsa County Jail on $75,000 bond for shooting with intent to kill.
The victim is expected to recover.
