TULSA - Human remains were discovered in north Tulsa Monday, Tulsa police have confirmed.
Authorities arrived at the scene, near Wright Christian College off N. Garnett and East Admiral Place, Monday afternoon. Police said the remains appear bleached white, a characteristic often attributed to heavy aging.
Tulsa police Sgt. Dave Walker said Monday a pelvic bone was found in the area around 3 p.m. "Most people cannot live without a pelvic bone," he said.
Walker said the department has received reports a body may have been dumped in the vicinity.
Tulsa police are expected to return to the spot Tuesday to see what else they can find.
