Tulsa International Airport cancels flights due to Sandy

TULSA - Several flights have been canceled at Tulsa International Airport as Superstorm Sandy moves west.

Millions of people are without power and the storm is bringing flooding, high winds and even snow as far west as Ohio and Indiana.

Nationwide, more than 12,000 flights had been canceled by early Tuesday.

Two flights Tuesday from Tulsa International Airport have been canceled  -- a 10:33 a.m. to Newark, NJ  and a 4:08 p.m. to Washington, D.C.

Two TIA United Airlines flights were canceled Monday -- a 6:34 a.m. from Tulsa to New York's Newark Liberty International Airport and a 12:30 p.m. flight to Washington D.C.'s Dulles International Airport.

As for Monday's arrivals, a 7:02 p.m. flight from D.C. and a 10 p.m. flight from Newark are canceled.
