The Tulsa Garden Center is hosting an informational lecture on Sept. 4 about the effects of adding chloramine to Tulsa's water supply.
Joan Arthur, Tulsa senior project engineer, will present the lecture and address concerns raised about the chemical.
In order to meet updated Environmental Protection Agency standards , the city of Tulsa added chloramine, which is chlorine mixed with ammonia, to the chemical mix used to treat Tulsa's water.

The lecture will be given at 10:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
