TULSA - A Tulsa fire truck responding to a fire call was stopped in its tracks when it collided with a car in north Tulsa Tuesday.
It happened around 11:54 a.m. near Apache and North Trenton.
Police say a white car and a fire truck were both traveling east on Apache when the car pulled out in front of the truck instead of yielding to the emergency vehicle.
The man driving the car was transported to the hospital for evaluation. His passenger said they heard no sirens and didn't see the truck before the accident.
Police haven't decided if the man will be ticketed.
No other injuries were reported.
