Tulsa Community College, in partnership with Jenks and Broken Arrow Public Schools, is giving students with disabilities options after high school graduation through the Regional Transition Fair, March 26.
The event is set to help educate parents and their students about the transition after graduation and the resources available to them, whether their high school graduate chooses to attend college or enter the workforce.
During the fair, local representatives from TCC and other colleges, community agencies and resource programs will be on hand to share post-graduation opportunities available to students with disabilities. An informational session with a panel of local experts is also scheduled for parents to attend. Door prizes will be given away at the close of the session.
The Regional Transition Fair is open to area students, from grades six to 12, and their parents and is free to the public. The event will take place Tuesday, March 26, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at TCC's Southeast Campus Student Union, located at 81st Street and Highway 169.
