NBC has confirmed that a contestant on Monday night's episode of The Voice is from the Tulsa area.

The network did not give the name of the contestant nor did it say that someone was chosen during the Blind Auditions. It only confirmed that someone from Green Country will appear April 1.

Speculation about local contestants has been swirling since the fourth season hit the air.

The Muskogee Phoenix reported Colton and Zach Swon, known as The Swon Brothers, auditioned for the show.

Due to the rules of the show, contestants cannot talk about what happened during taping until after the episode airs.

However, Zach changed his Facebook cover photo Feb. 25 to a graphic with the words "THE VOICE" and "I AUDITIONED" on it.  No word on whether or not he, his brother or both were selected.

Last year, Jamar Rogers and Adley Stump, both from Tulsa, were selected during the Blind Audition stage.

Jamar was selected by Cee Lo Green and made it to the semifinals round. Adley was chosen by Blake Shelton but was knocked out in the first round.

Watch The Voice at 7 p.m. on Channel 2.
