Gas prices spike overnight in Tulsa

TULSA - The price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline is now more than $2 in Tulsa.

Prices jumped overnight from $1.99 to $2.15.

The spike in prices has Tulsa's average gas price at $2.08, according to gas price tracking website GasBuddy.com.

Oklahoma's statewide average is now $2.15, and according to AAA's Fuel Gauge Report, the nationwide average is $2.29.

One year ago, Tulsans paid an average of $3.06 one year ago.
