Tahlequah police arrest suspects for separate thefts: Larceny from city, breaking and entering

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. - Tahlequah police arrested two men last weekend in separate burglary incidents, one involving a construction site for the new police department.

On June 20, officers found four people on the west side of the construction site.  When officers asked if the driver worked at the site, police say Ryan Goodnight said, "No officer, I am stealing this pipe."

Goodnight was taken into custody for larceny of city property.  He was booked into the Cherokee County Jail.

That same day, Antonio Davis was arrested elsewhere in Tahlequah after police say he broke into a home and later returned to the scene.

Police say Davis was arrested inside a neighbor's residence.  He had items belonging to both residents in his pockets, police say, and other items were found in a tree line and in a yard.
