MUSKOGEE, Okla. - A two-year-old boy killed just days before Christmas was laid to rest Friday.
Dozens of family and friends gathered to remember JaCion Logan.
He lost his life during a home invasion in Muskogee. Police say the toddler was not the intended target of the shooting.
Robert Smothers, JaCion's uncle says he will continue to pray for his family as well as the suspects'.
"Vengeance is not going to solve anything at all. It's not. So, whatever happened has happened we need to let it go. Let bygones be bygones because enough blood has been shed," said Smothers.
21-year-old Elbert Meeks is charged with first degree murder for the child's death.
