2-car crash in Skiatook sends 2 to hospital, 1 driver dead

SKIATOOK, Okla. – Two vehicles collided Wednesday afternoon resulting in one fatality.

Three people were injured in a car accident near 52nd West Avenue at Rock School Road.

A vehicle failed to come to a stop at a stop sign and entered into the second vehicle’s lane of travel, causing it to roll several times.

The driver of the second vehicle, 35-year-old Thomas Blair, was pronounced dead at the scene from multiple injuries.

According to the Department of Public Safety, Blair was thrown from his car as a result of the crash.

The drive of the first vehicle, Luis Dominguez-Vargas, 45, was transported to an area hospital with head injuries and later released.

The passenger of his vehicle, a minor, was also admitted to an area hospital in critical condition with head injuries.

Neither of the drivers were using seatbelts
