Four people were arrested after an early morning pursuit early Monday.

Skiatook police say they were called to the Walmart on W Rogers Blvd. after reports of several people stealing items from the store around 3 a.m.

Police in the area found the suspect vehicle, a late model Ford Focus with paper tags, but the driver refused to stop.

The chase went through Owasso and onto Highway 169 to I-44 before ending at the Highway 97 exit in Sapulpa.

Police arrested the driver, Chad Wells, and passengers Shauna Salt, Nolan Tisdale and Ashley Sharp.

Police discovered that the car had been stolen.

Wells and Salt were treated at an area hospital before being returned to police custody.
