TULSA - Skiatook Police arrested a 65-year-old man with numerous past convictions early Monday morning for larceny.
Officers responded to a larceny call near the 100 block of North C St. in Skiatook around 12:30 a.m. after a resident noticed a suspicious man leaving a home in the area driving a red truck with a red camper, according to an arrest report.
When police arrived they spotted the red truck at the house and found a black tool bag on the passenger floor board that was identified as the same tool bag that was taken from the resident's house.
Officers then arrested the driver of the truck, Leonard Dewayne White.
White was being held in the Tulsa County Jail for first-degree burglary, larceny and driving under revocation.
Records from the Oklahoma Department of Corrections show White has been convicted on larceny charges in 1982, 1994 and 1996. He has also been incarcerated on drug charges, most recently in 2009 and is listed on probation until 2015 from a drug charge in 2005.
