PAULS VALLEY, Okla. -  Traffic is being diverted near a busy interstate after a large amount of bees were accidentally set loose.

2 Works for You NBC affiliate station, KFOR, is reporting that shortly after 1 p.m., witnesses reported seeing a truckload of honeybees turned over on Interstate 35.

KFOR says the wreck occurred southbound near Exit 72.

They say that while the roads seem to be clear, drivers still need to be wary about the honeybees.

Witnesses say they are running into bees about a half mile away from the accident.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says that there are injuries related to the crash, but there is no more information about the extent of those injuries.
