Semi strikes, kills pedestrian walking along Highway 169 Monday night

TULSA - A person was killed Monday night while walking along a Tulsa highway.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a semi driving south on Highway 169 struck a pedestrian in the outside lane of traffic around 10:15 p.m. about two-tenths of a mile north of 126th Street North.
The driver was not injured.
Authorities have not released the victim's name.
The accident shut down southbound 169 while the area was cleared.
