With primary elections coming up in June, the Tulsa County Election board has announced a new addition.
As part of a pilot program, a satellite location will open up for early voting.
People who want to cast their vote early, ahead of the June 24 primary, will be able to do so at Hardesty Regional Library near 93rd and Memorial.
“Hopefully it will be more convenient for people that live in south Tulsa,” said Patty Bryant with the Tulsa County Election Board. “Not far from Creek Turnpike in a very busy part of Tulsa County.”
Early voting will be available June 19 through 21 at Hardesty Library, 8316 E. 93rd St., and the election board, 555 N. Denver Ave., just north of downtown.
The satellite location will not cost any additional taxpayer money.
