SAPULPA, Okla. – Officials are concerned that a fuel spill could be the cause of an environmental issue.

Officers say that overnight rain possible caused leftover gas to rise to the surface at an old gas station. Police say the biggest concern is that the fuel would leak into storm drains.

The intersection of Dewey and Elm was temporarily shut down for hours as officials worked to clean the mess.
