A Sapulpa man was stabbed to death late Monday night, according to Miami Police.
35-year-old John Wood got into an altercation with another man, identified as 41-year-old Andrew Jones at 2802 P Street NW at 10:50 p.m. When officers arrived at the scene, both men were covered with blood.
Miami Police took Jones into custody at the scene.
Mr. Wood was transported by life flight to Freeman Hospital in Missouri where he later died from his wounds.
The Oklahoma Bureau of Investigations is now assisting in the investigation.
