SAND SPRINGS, Okla. -- Sand Springs police are working to identify whether a sexual assault occurred at Charles Page High School.
Detectives are working to identify whether the situation was horseplay or criminal, police said.
“We definitely think there was something improper that occurred,” said Mike Carter, of the Sand Springs Police Department.
Police said the situation, which occurred last month, involves two male students coercing another male student into a sex act at a sports facility.
Officers have interviewed the victim and have yet to interview the other two high school students involved.
Following a complete investigation, Carter said it would be up to prosecutors to determine whether charges are filed.
Carter said the school also conducted an investigation into the situation, which involved three juvenile students who knew each other.
