Sand Springs police shut down the streets around Main and Broadway Friday evening around 6 for one of the city’s biggest events.
The vendors have spent the rest of the night setting up for the annual Sand Springs Herbal Affair and Some 25,000 people are expected to attend the one-day event.
This is the 25th year for the event.
It begins at 9 a.m. Saturday and ends at 4 p.m.
More than 100 vendors will make up the largest herb festival in the Sooner State.
Handicap parking is available at Broadway and Garfield.
Parking is also available at Charles Page High School, where a shuttle will transport attendees to the event.
New this year, a wine garden, featuring four-vendors, and an expanded children's play area.
