Romney visits Oklahoma for campaign, fundraising events

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney returns to Oklahoma Wednesday, bringing his campaign with him.

The expected GOP nominee joins Gov. Mary Fallin at the Oklahoma Republican Party headquarters in Oklahoma City.

Following the campaign event, Romney is expected to attend a fundraiser with Harold Hamm, chairman and chief executive officer of Oklahoma City-based Continental Resources.

Fallin has yet to endorse a Republican candidate for president, but the governor said Tuesday she's "very supportive" of Romney's candidacy.

Romney finished second to Rick Santorum during Oklahoma's presidential primary in March.  He received 28 percent of the vote to Santorum's 24.  Newt Gingrich received 27 percent.

Both Santorum and Gingrich have suspended their campaigns.  Both politicians have since endorsed Romney for president.
