Robber hits same store 2 nights in a row

TULSA - Tulsa police are looking for a robber they say hit the same convenience store twice in two days.

Officers were called to Phillips 66 near Pine Street and Yale Avenue around 11:45 p.m. Sunday.

The clerk told police a man tried to rob the store at gunpoint but he ran away when the clerk said he couldn't open a lock.

Based on the description, police believe it's the same man who robbed the store around the same time Saturday night. That time he succeeded in getting away with cash from the register.

Investigators say they only have a vague description. He's described as a black male, 24 to 28 years of age, 5 feet 3 inches tall and around 100 pounds. He was wearing a black mask and black clothing and armed with a black pistol.

Anyone with more information should call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
