PSO spokesman Stan Whiteford says that crews are now conducting mop-up operations for about 1,793 remaining customers who are still without electricity.
Service to those customers will be restored as repairs to the homes are completed, Whiteford said.
Whiteford said debris such as tree limbs continued to fall for a couple of days after the storm, disrupting power and adding to repairs already underway.
Saturday Whiteford said PSO crews where working in the following areas:
- 46th Street and Winston, just north of 45th Street
- neighborhood north of 31st and east of Harvard
- neighborhood at 26th and Peoria.
