Police search for shooter after bystander injured in domestic dispute; woman arrested for cocaine

TULSA - A domestic dispute at a Tulsa motel ended when a bystander got involved and was nearly shot in the face.

It happened at America's Best Value Inn near 31st and Memorial.

The victim wasn't seriously hurt.

Police say an arguing couple was being loud and the man, who was downstairs, yelled up at the couple asking them to be quiet.

Almost instantly police say the man saw a shotgun pointed over the railing.  The man was grazed on the nose with buckshot fired from the gun.

As the victim ran for police, the suspect took off.

A search of the couple's room resulted in the recovery of the loaded shotgun hidden in a piece of furniture as well as 5 grams of cocaine and a pit bull puppy.

The woman in the room was arrested for possession but police say she won't identify the shooter.
