TULSA - Officers investigated a shooting at a south Tulsa apartment complex Saturday afternoon and found the victim with a gunshot wound to the thigh.

Officers were assigned to a shooting near 61st and Lewis just before 1 p.m. and learned that the gunshot victim had gotten into a black sedan and left the scene. When Police saw the vehicle a little later they pulled it over and found the victim in the passenger seat.

Police say neither the victim nor the driver were cooperative in giving details about how the gunshot happened. The wound was determined to be non-life-threatening.

After investigation, officers say the victim was shot outside his apartment. Witnesses stated they observed the victim and two other suspects fighting when the gun went off. A shell casing and bullet were found at the scene.
