Dewey 15-month-old identified by OSBI

DEWEY, Okla. - Officials have released the name of a 15-month-old girl killed in Dewey.

According to OSBI, Emma Beth Warmberodt was pronounced dead on Friday.

A preliminary autopsy shows Warmberodt died of a homicide, Dewey Police Chief Mike Shea said.  Her death is ruled suspicious.

OSBI agents have interviewed the girl's parents and others that occupied the home at the time of death.

Fire and ambulance responded to a residence in the 300 block of North Cherokee around 2:30 p.m. Friday and found the girl unresponsive, police said.

Investigators are not releasing any additional information at this time. No arrest has been made. The case is still under investigation.
