Former Owasso mayor and Oklahoma State Senator Randy Brogdon announced he will file paperwork this week to run for governor in 2014.
He made the announcement on his website Wednesday.
"In the coming months, I will be making my case to Republican primary voters why I believe Constitutional Conservative leadership is needed in the Governor’s office," Brogdon wrote.
Brogdon lost the 2010 primary to Mary Fallin in his previous attempt at the governor's office.
