TULSA - Tulsa police say an Owasso man was killed after being struck by a car near 11th Street and Garnett Sunday night.
Officer say the victim, described only as a Hispanic man in his early 30s, was crossing the street and dressed in dark clothing.
Witnesses told police the driver was not speeding or driving erratically.
Investigators say the victim was intoxicated and walking from a nearby motel to a convenience store to buy more beer.
The driver admitted to having drinks earlier in the day, but did not appear intoxicated.
He was taken to an area hospital for blood tests, but no charges are expected.
