OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is investigating two inmate deaths in two county jails.
OSBI says paramedics were called to the Oklahoma County Jail Saturday afternoon when jailers were alerted to a problem with a female inmate. They found her unresponsive.
The Oklahoma City woman was incarcerated for possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
OSBI is also investigating another inmate death at the Creek County Jail. Ransom Andrew Moss, 53, was found dead inside his jail Sunday morning by other inmates.
Moss was booked into the jail June 11 on a warrant for two counts of sexual battery.
Foul play is not suspected in either of these cases but the state medical examiner will perform autopsies on both inmates.
