Prosecutors are set to deliver opening statements in a double homicide trial Wednesday.
Jermaine Jackson has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder in a September 2012 fatal shooting .
Kristjan Thorsson, 18, and John White, 37, were shot during an argument at QuikTrip, near 71st and Riverside.
Police say Jackson fired inside the victims’ vehicle and then left the scene on foot. Both victims died of injuries sustained in the shooting.
Jackson was located and arrested the following week in Arkansas.
A jury was seated in the trial Tuesday. Opening statements will begin Wednesday morning.
