BRISTOW, Okla. - Troopers attended to an overturned semi transporting tires on Turner Turnpike Tuesday.
Oklahoma State Troopers reported an overturned semi truck after the driver reportedly fell asleep behind the wheel.
According to troopers, the drive awoke at the wheel and overcorrected his mistake only to have the vehicle fall over.
Around 5 p.m. the Penske semi truck was found laying on its side.
Troopers worked two hours with tow trucks to remove the semi truck from the road.
The driver was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries. Two other employees in the truck at the time reported being not injured.
