Oklahoma Alliance for Animals creates Facebook page to help fire victims find lost pets

CREEK COUNTY, Okla. - The Oklahoma Alliance for Animals (OAA) is working for find the families of pets lost over the weekend during the massive wildfires in northeastern Oklahoma.

OAA has created a Facebook page called Creek County Displaced Animals to coordinate the care and rescue of animals displaced by Saturday's fires in Creek County.

According to OAA President Jamee Suarez-Howard, the nonprofit organization and its extensive network of veterinarians and volunteers are actively involved in the rescue and care of dogs, cats, horses, guineas, goats and birds following the devastation caused by the blaze.

Suarez-Howard says this page will hopefully bring lost pets and their owners back together.
