TULSA - Two people were killed Wednesday in an accident on Highway 51 near Mannford.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a construction truck and an RV collided head on about a mile west of Highway 48 on Highway 51.
Herman James, 79, and Deanna James, 68, of Enid, Okla. were in the RV. Herman James was pronounced dead at the scene and Deanna James was transported to an area hospital in serious condition.
A Yale, Okla. resident, 71-year-old Wayne Anderson, the driver of the construction truck, also died.
A dog, which was inside one of the vehicles, survived the accident uninjured and is now in the custody of Animal Control.
Troopers do not believe speed was a factor but they haven't determined the cause of the accident.
