Officials with BOK Center issue statement after Manchester Arena explosion in England

TULSA -- Officials with the BOK Center in Tulsa issued a statement on Monday after a deadly explosion claimed at least 19 lives in England at Manchester Arena.

The BOK Center is managed by SMG, which also manages Manchester Arena.

Read the statement below:

"We can confirm there was an incident as people were leaving the Ariana Grande concert today at our SMG-managed facility in Manchester, UK. The incident took place outside the venue in a public space. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families and also our SMG colleagues in Europe."

American pop singer Ariana Grande was performing at Manchester Arena when the explosion occurred.
