TULSA - Tulsa police responded to a shots fired call at a north Tulsa fire station but instead they discovered it had been vandalized.
Investigators say someone used a hammer or rod to break out three windows.
Police say they're on high alert after the past week's events.
"Anytime we hear 'shots fired' it ramps us up, everybody a little bit," said Cpl. Dan Miller. "Within the past week, having two officer-involved shootings, the guy yesterday that was intentionally trying to kill us, you sort of wonder what's next."
The fire station was out of commission for about an hour but has since returned to service.
