Stolen cattle fencing out of Muskogee, Wagoner Counties recovered

MUSKOGEE, Okla. - Investigators in the Wagoner and Muskogee County Sheriffs Offices may have solved some recent thefts in the Porter, Okay and Muskogee areas.

Wagoner County officials said 39-year-old Michael Warren, of Okay, has admitted to stealing some special fencing used to hold cattle.

Officials say Warren led deputies to a property owned by Greg Mitchell in Muskogee.  Once there, 27 fence panels and two stolen gates were located.

Most of the panels were identified with markings but some had identifications scrubbed off and were in various stages of being repainted.

Deputies say they also found a utility trailer stolen in Muskogee.
