Teen named person of interest in fatal Muskogee shooting

MUSKOGEE, Okla. - Muskogee police are looking for a teen who may have information about a deadly shooting Thursday evening.

Investigators say a 26-year-old Skyler Brewer was shot and killed near 21st and Broadway around 9 p.m.

They say an altercation earlier in the evening led to the shooting.

Police are looking for 18-year-old John Cone.  Investigators believe he may be in the Wagoner or Tulsa area.

A second person of interest was initially named.  Twenty-eight-year-old Tenesha Nunley has since ruled her out as a person of interest.

A vehicle potentially connected to the shooting, a 1995 blue Chevy Tahoe with Oklahoma plate 521GMB, has been located.
