PORUM, Okla. -- It's been two months since friends and family last saw 16-year-old Dillon Jones.
Brenda Jones says she and her family are heartbroken over his disappearance.
"Dillon got on the school bus, went to school all day and then we expected him home by 3 o'clock," Jones said.
But Dillon a junior at Porum High School never came home Nov. 15. He was supposed to ride the bus home, but instead rode with friends to his job in Warner and then cashed his check nearby.
Friends of Dillon say they then dropped him off a convenience store in Porum, where he told them another friend was supposed to pick him up.
That was the last time anyone say Dillon.
"It's just not like him. I find it hard to believe that he left on his own," Brenda Jones said."
Muskogee County Sheriff's office has been working this case since last year, but now law enforcement officials are looking to the public for assistance.
"He's a young man. We want to resolve this for the grandparents," We want to find this young man and if there's a problem help -- whatever we need to do."
Dillon is described as a white male with brown hair and blue eyes. He is 6-foot and 156 pounds.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Muskogee Sheriff's Department at (918) 687-0202.
"We just want him home. We want him safe," Brenda Jones said.
