MUSKOGEE, Okla. - A Muskogee woman will spend the next two decades behind bars for trying to have her ex-boyfriend killed .
Kenna Lee Morrison, 31, was sentenced to 20 years in prison Tuesday for the solicitation of first-degree murder . She was found guilty in June.
Prosecutors said Morrison recruited three people to kill her ex-boyfriend because he kicked her out of their shared home.
The plot was never carried out and the ex-boyfriend was not harmed.
Court records indicate all but the first 10 years of Morrison's sentence are suspended and she will receive credit for time served since her arrest in August 2013.
As part of the sentence, Morrison must also obtain her GED, attend anger management classes as well as mental health and drug and alcohol counseling.
