MUSKOGEE, Okla. - A Muskogee man pleaded guilty Monday to manslaughter for the shooting death of a 42-year-old man.
Andrew Hubbell pleaded to first-degree manslaughter for the 2010 shooting death of John Michael Lyman. The plea came on the two-year anniversary of Lyman's death.
Investigators said the two were seen arguing hours before the shooting. Hubbell was later arrested in Arkansas.
According to the Muskogee County Court Clerk, Hubbell was sentenced to 15 years in prison. All but the first 10 will be suspended and Hubbell will receive credit for the nearly two years already served.
In addition to his prison sentence, Hubbell is required to pay $4,196 in court costs and $2,521 in restitution.
