Muskogee County traffic stop results in big meth discovery

A man was arrested Thursday after a sheriff's deputy found 20 pounds of crystal meth.

Authorities say Muskogee County Deputy Jeff Gragg and his canine partner made the discovery during a traffic stop along Interstate 40 near Webbers Falls.

Authorities say the drug's street value is around a million dollars.

Gragg arrested 24-year-old Michael Salas.

He was booked into the Muskogee County Jail for trafficking illegal drugs and possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute.
