MUSKOGEE, Okla. - The city of Muskogee is poised to launch a major redevelopment project.
They call it "action in Muskogee.”
The plans calls for a new look downtown with street revamping, new vendors, activities and festivals to draw citizens.
It’s all based on what citizens said they want for Muskogee.
"Not only did they say it, not only did we out it in writing. We developed blueprints but were at the point now where we can take their dreams, their visions from blueprint to reality,” said Marlin Coleman, Muskogee city councilor.
Councilor Coleman says the first big project is already underway; it will be a new theater.
